Rogers technicians complete a full assessment of the pet stain before performing cleaning services in order to implement the most efficient and effective practices and proper technology. UV light is used to reveal organic compounds that cannot be seen with the naked eye, and depending on the extent of the damage, technicians will recommend one of the following cleaning levels.
- Level 1 is recommended for topical, minor areas that can be spot cleaned using a pet-safe spray to neutralize odors, remove stains, and break apart urine molecules.
- Level 2 is recommended for more extensive staining. In this stage, the stain and surrounding area are saturated with a pet-safe spray. The spray soaks in the carpet before being flushed out and removed along with the urine.
- Level 3 is recommended for heavily soiled carpets with staining that extends into the pad beneath. For this treatment, the same steps are taken as above, as well as the use of a water claw to help flush the urine from the carpet and the subflooring.
